Kat Z Gal my mum did that to me after a party I had when she was out! She said, “if you’re going to act f’ing stupid, you can look f’ing stupid”. FOUR DAYS before I went back to school after the summer holidays. she scalped the front half of my head and gave my brother a monk spot.
Didn’t have another party.

@b18c1 lol I have to laugh your mum sounds a hoot though many on here would call her abusive. I cut one side to a shoulder length so that it wasn't extreme but she had quite long hair so it was enough. Did you have therapy?

I’m the eldest of six. Number 5 had AAAAALLLLLL the parties…

@jharekcarnelian She actually didn't see it as abuse and has never needed a therapist. I hope you're kids are perfect and you have the perfect discipline for them if you even can bring yourself to do anything.

@xlaurax yeah a lot of people don’t see their abuse as abuse one things for sure, I won’t be cutting their hair off or not meeting their basic needs

@jharekcarnelian if you’ve brought your children up well they should be able to meet their own basic needs by their teenage years
When they refuse to do that and still expect the patent to once they are capable is when the problems start
Teenagers are brutal

@pastorjeremylove Not every child can meet their own basic needs by their teenage years. SEN exists and it doesn’t necessarily mean that someone hasn’t parented well. That’s a very narrow view.
