Struggling as an Introvert: Anyone Else Feeling Lonely and Finding It Hard to Make Friends?

Same ish find it hard to make new friends and talk to people and keep friends as I don't know how to talk to others. Did find it easier to have work friends as I find it easier to find conversations and maintain interactions once been there a few weeks. Maybe find a part time job if possible it could help.

Same here. Its bloody hard. I joined the PTA and found myself some friends that I think I will have forever but I still struggle with being sociable!

Sometimes just a friendly smile to another parent or perhaps a compliment or ‘how are you” is enough to spark a conversation that might lead to a friendship.

I'm extrovert I talk to anyone just start a convo.. I can't even get off a bus without having a full on convo with a stranger, I find it really easy. I think people over think the situation in their head that it's weird but it's not weird to be friendly, just go for it, what do you have to lose xxx
