@foxyroxy oh I’m not slating your post at all it’s really helpful I just mean whoever decided to put that on the list didn’t really think about it did they x
This is brilliant. I’m a nurse and a huge advocate for first aid in general, and cpr/choking aid in particular to be taught in schools. Also basic sign language. It coyld help someone a lot. Great post!
Also, don’t hang yourself up on finding a song to go with, the important thing is to do SOMEthing if it should happen. Having said that, as a life long Star Wars fan, of course I’m doing the Imperial march
Am I the only one who thinks that Sitting on the dock of the bay is a much slower song than the others? Should the need arise I will stick with staying alive.
They were taught in school how to do it on teddy bears ( kids were 4-12) but the person teaching them did tell them that they may not have the strength to do it on a person but calling for help and trying was better than nothing at all. I pray they never need to use it . Watching my husband do CPR to our daughter and feeling helpless will never leave me
I was told Nellie the elephant twice should be the right pace and the right about if compressions. Although did first aid training last week and my younger colleagues had never heard of it!
