Need Support for My Son Facing Bullying for His Charity Haircut in Honor of His Grandmother

@tgc0908 you can share Matthew’s amazing story and give this amazing young lad some well deserved support.
Well done Hunter you are a wonderful young man 💙

Hunter you’re amazing and your Nan would be so very proud of you. Be you. Don’t listen to anyone else. Big love xx

Photo of my two sons on hol in Spain earlier this year. They are 21 and almost 18, the elder one (longer curly hair) has had long hair since he was 13, younger one since he was maybe 15. They too got the odd bit of "girl" comments when younger but mostly ignored them and occasionally got a bit salty in their replies! They just don't want short hair - no different to others not wanting long hair, no matter the gender.
Well done to Hunter doing such fantastically kind thing in memory of his Nan - one of my sons friends did the same when he lost his grandad and he got stick too.
He cut it and then grew it and donated again in spite of them!
Those saying things about Hunter growing his hair are narrowminded, entrenched in gender stereotypes (from 1800/1900's, as prior to that men had long hair!) and being unkind and insensitive to Hunter the loss of his Nan and what he's doing to make a positive impact with his grief.
I'm sure his Nan would be so proud of him💗💙
I think you can safely say the collective here certainly are too😊

Head high, shoulders back Hunter! My son did the same after his grandad died of cancer - he was the smallest player on his team and was mistaken for a girl in every match and on the end of some unkind comments. You are stronger than them, so much stronger. People tend to be unkind when they’re jealous of you, because they recognise in you something they do not have. Hold onto that thought!

Hunter you are already more of a young man than these bullies could ever hope to be!! You have a whole online community who is very proud of you!! 👏💪👊

Bullies are cowards, they only thrive in trying to put people down because they are failures themselves.
So, keep fighting the good cause young lad.
You got our families vote!!!
Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤️

Such an amazing young lad wanting to raise money for a wonderful charity in memory of his nan is so commendable. Hold your head up high, you should be so proud of yourself x
