Batch Cooking for School Lunches: How Prepping in Advance Makes Mornings a Breeze

@honkytonkangel If I freeze bread I tend to get out how many slices I need & use it for toast. If I was gonna sandwich it I'd probably micro defrost it on kitchen roll to absorb the moisture.
 
I would not be giving my kid anything with meat, eggs or dairy in that’s been defrosting in their bag/lunchbox all day
 
I sometimes bake batches of spring rolls/sausage rolls/pakoras so I have them ready for packed lunches. I do sandwiches/wraps the night before and then just add fruit/salad in the morning. I also sometimes do breakfast muffins and freeze. Just take out what I need before I go to bed. Rolls and wraps come out of the freezer every morning.
