Batch Cooking for School Lunches: How Prepping in Advance Makes Mornings a Breeze

Packed lunches are the worst! I hate doing them. But I’ve just Ed worked out that school lunches for my 3 will be costing me about £200 a month so think I need to bite the bullet and make the sodding sandwiches!!

I often meal prep on a Sunday, while cooking a roast, I prep the meat and veg for quick and easy meals after work, also clean all fruit and put into Tupperware ready for lunchboxes. Makes life a little easier during the week.

My mother in law used to do this. At one point she was making them for 7 people so I guess it was necessary! I don't have enough room in my freezer or I'd do the same.

Kids make their lunches the night before or they have school dinners 🤣🤣🤣
Everything ready the night before including bathed, fresh uniform and bags packed ready to go.

I save time by getting them to make it themselves 🤣
Also nobody in this house will eat bread that’s been frozen and we don’t have the freezer space anyway.
