I'm so glad packed lunches aren't a thing in my country, I'd hate all the hassle, plus trying to switch things up now and then so they don't get boring. Hooray for free school dinners for everyone (even as an adult learner I get a free lunch at school. Might be a bit shit sometimes like beetroot soup but free makes everything taste better )
@hopeseven77 I mean she used to eat them but then she was ill and now associates the smell of the hall and school dinner with the being ill so won’t have them at all.
I don’t feel like they take enough time on an evening to warrant batch cooking them. But each to their own.
To save time here we iron all uniforms and put them in daily piles. Including underwear and socks x
I just get up and make packed lunch for my daughter. It takes five minutes. If I need to do my husband's, his kebabs go in the air fryer for 13 minutes whilst I do his salad (we do chop peppers, onion, cucumber and add in sweetcorn so it's in the fridge).
Everything is ironed and ready for tomorrow. Give it a week and life will be back to normal.
Packed lunches and drinks done and put in fridge the night before.
Bags packed and by the door night before.
Clothes for the day on a hanger on a hook inside wardrobe door.
Maybe I’m weird but I can’t stand sandwiches unless they’ve been made that day. I do all the lunchboxes in the morning, whilst I’m having my cup of tea before anyone else has woken up!! I quite enjoy this time to be honest!
I get up at 5am, meditate with Tibetan monks, do a bit of basket weaving, make a 3 course breakfast for the cherubs and a fresh healthy vegan packed lunch x 2. Have half hour to spare to go through their itineraries for the day and make sure they have all they need for a successful and happy day
