Struggling as an Introvert: Anyone Else Feeling Lonely and Finding It Hard to Make Friends?

I'm an introvert!
Anyone else like this and struggle to make friends as they get older?
Only adult conversation I get is when my husband home from work and then I'm to tired and worn out from the kids I don't feel like talking

I'm a stay at home mum so struggle to make friends. Feel like I don't fit in on school mums.
I literally don't have 1 friend in my life

get rather lonely.
How do people do it? Love to just have a friend or 2 where I can go for coffee and have a girly chat or in kids holidays meet up and let kids run wild etc. Sometimes I hate been such an introvert

I feel this so so much and I have two in school and two different set of parents and I've never fit in anywhere I feel , was so bullied in school , had a baby young and was ditched by the friends I had , honestly I have one that speaks to me everyday but she is sociable and likes to party and drink and I hate that

@shola so sorry to hear this. I was bullied at school too. Think that's why people don't like me now as I never used to speak how I feel for the fear of being bullied more. Now I speak my mind since having kids

@marc16 yeah I used to get all the Abusive words " thankfully not physical " and just sit quietly because I had no one to even stick up for me , if was like it was me against the world , or how it felt as a child anyway , I've always liked things like 60s music and staying at home and I didn't go round the back of the classes to smoke like the cool kid , always to class on time which was wrong , I had ginger hair and oh my goodness that was the worst thing you could be ! Everyone one ginger in the school dyed there hair apart from me because they were not going to win and I was just the ugly duckling , the weird one where knowone new where it came from

@shola I was bullied terribly too, was 18 when I had my first and my face never did in with the school mums either
