Ring Bought on Etsy Turns Out to Be Fake - Seller Refusing Refund, What Are My Options?

I completely get your frustration and that is unfair if seller has said real diamond etc.....however if you love it then does it actually matter......my engagement ring was around £40 so stone isn't real but it's mine and I absolutely love it and no one actually knows unless I tell them.

To be honest this is really going to depend on what you spent. No one can say anything until they know the facts 🤷🏽‍♀️

@rwfender1 how expensive it is depends on the claim... We don't know how much she paid for the ring, it may cost almost as much as the ring did to bring the claim in the first place.

@kevt well, she needs to look doesn't she? She asked fir help, this is the route I'd take. I recently started a claim for £2000, it cost me £150. And I'm getting my monet back. So worth the effort.

Life is too short, just take it on the chin as a life lesson and crack on. You don’t need more stress before your wedding day 🙂 small claims will cost you more money, cause undue stress and disrupt your life. Take a breath and carry on 🙂

Question: can you share the original listing, so we can advise on how it was worded.
Your right etsy and PayPal won't touch this its months out of the cut off time.
Did you use credit or debit card?
Do you still have original wrapping it came in box and packaging?
Where is the seller based?
