Gift Ideas for a TA: Teacher or TA on the Label

@crytox Thankyou sooooo much… had a small panic as I was splitting them between two teachers and it was such beautiful set…. Anyway a bit of origami box folding and cello wrap and think I’ve done you proud 😍… “the whole house smells like Christmas” Poppy age 8 xxxxx thanks again

I’m a TA, I don’t mind whatsoever if I’m called a teacher. Even the teacher I work with sometimes says ‘the teachers’ meaning her and the TAs in the class. It’s fine.

My daughter was diagnosed with coeliac disease in January and since then the TA who already looks after my daughters other medical needs and me have had a running theme this year where she will eat 1 type of gluten free bread 1 day and then complain about it the day after so we've bought her TA a bread Teddy 🤣 my daughter thought it was hilarious, she's named her Brenda 🤣🤣🤣

It's a bit late this year but previously we set up a PayPal pool and all the parents from the class put money in whatever they could afford then we got the teacher a card an anyone that chipped in signed it. We left it at reception for ease. We got close to £100 & bought a restaurant voucher, flowers, chocolates and wine. Another year we did a spa voucher.

@estpet we have done this before! But what I didn't like was when it came to splitting it between the teacher and TA some parents wanted like 60% forgot the teacher and then 20% for TA. And I didn't agree with that. Because TAs do just as much work. It became a long thing a out how to split it so I don't really like this idea anymore.

Yes we absolutely don’t mind being called teacher. The children often refer to us as teachers too. We also appreciate any small gifts even just a lovely message in a card so just get what you can afford xx
