We stayed at these apartments in Morinj. We hired a car and toured around from Budva, Sveti Stefan, Tivat to Kotor with our baby, 4 year old & 12 year old. Roads were great. All stunning areas in their own right. We love deserted beaches and snorkelling. As long as my kids have water they're happy. We did do a couple of beach clubs where you're served drinks & food on the beach to make life easier with the kids. We did explore towns too. It's a beautiful holiday destination. I'd say Croatia is probably slightly more geared up toward the British tourist (we've done Molunat, Mlini & Cavtat to Dubrovnik & Split & Trogir). Those floating activity islands at the beaches are great. We'd been to the Amalfi coast a couple of years prior. Yes it's beautiful but absolutely heaving and SO expensive. Even parking the car in Italy can cost 80 euros for the day (Positano) The quieter less discovered areas are what we enjoy as a family. Much easier on the purse too x
We've been to Bulgaria the last 2 years!! We're closer to sunny beach and dislike it!! Very pricey due to it being a bit more touristy unfortunately. But pomorie last year was lovely
