Thank you everyone for all your help, advice and encouragement. I'm going to give it a start today in just one area and go from there. Its feels a very daunting task as well as hard but it will definitely be worth it!
Help. I'm desperately trying to declutter my house. I would love for Stacey soloman and her team to "sort my life out" and love the idea of having everything spread out in a warehouse to see what duplicates etc i have but being realistic i need ideas on how/where i start to do it myself. I'm normally organised but really struggle with the house and not only letting things go but buying things that are not necessarily needed hence the clutter. I'm a nightmare for keeping things just incase. How do peoples house look so uncluttered and organised?

I go throw every room once every 6 months get rid of everything that's not used or played with, I go throw kitchen all the time moving stuff around lol i think less is more (less time cleaning shit more time watching Netflix 😉)

Have a look for 'clear the clutter' groups. I'm in one thats very gentle and encouraging and, if all else fails the group owner runs a service to do it for/with you. She is doing a challenge this month to get you started in small steps so the overwhelm doesn't get to you. @hopeandbutterflies runs the group.

Start small in one room and go throw items if you haven't used it in a while maybe its time to donate, sell or bin.

I would just start with one room at a time and say when do I last use this ? How often do I use it ? If not use the methods , recycle , sell or donate. And just think. You want a organised house with no clutter that means getting rid of things xx

Do 1 room at a time 1 area at a time. Find ways to reorganise that you can manage and keep up with keep going till all done.

Watch Getting Organised on Netflix. That'll give you some inspo. They first start with the "edit" which is basically getting rid of stuff. X

Baby steps. Just one drawer is a start and will give you the incentive/confidence to do another, then another. Before you know it, it'll be one room done. You can then progress. Some of these storage ideas are fab but, can be expensive. Save old boxes and cover them, things like that. Try using a creative side as well as practical.

Outgrown children’s and maternity clothing to Second Snuggle.
Take it a step at a time and don’t be hard on yourself.
I’ve always found the organised mum method boot camp great to start when I need a clear out! X
