Choosing the Right Nintendo Switch for Twins – Game Copies and Model Comparison

If you buy the physical copy you would have to buy two copies- one for each console (if you want to play it at the same time). If you buy the digital on the console you can do a thing called game sharing, in which you only need one copy of the game. Pros and cons to both, physical games you can resell if not used enough whereas a digital you can’t. So depends on if it’s used often enough etc x

We got the switch lites for our children and they enjoyed them being handheld as you could play together but separately at the same time so they weren't stuck to one console kind of thing,for young children I definitely recommend the lites whilst they're getting used to them xxxx

Hi! I’m a twin mum of 7 year old boys. We have the main switch that can be attached to the tv. And a few months after we did invest in a second hand switch light. We don’t have any duplicate games except Minecraft they just have to take turns. The main switch that connects to the tv is the one we use for multiplayer games x
Also get two additional controllers if you can so all the family can play. Highly recommend mario party

If you buy the games online, they can both play the same game at the same time.
If you buy the physical cartridge, then only one can play at once.
You have to play under the account that bought it on the second switch though, I e. Your account.

@inthesonifeelasone oh gosh, I have no idea about accounts etc, I guess I'll find it out as I go. Do I set them up in my name then or in the boys' names 🤦🏼‍♀️ it's all gobbledegook to me and I used to think I was a bit of a technology whizz!!! Then I hit 40 and I have no idea!!!! 🤯🥴🤣 Xxx

@littlefre2
I think someone has said it above,
But on your primary switch, anyone can play the online purchased game,
But on the second switch, only the person that bought it can play - but doesn't matter too much really, they can just play as you.
Another note, the cartridges are tiny, so if they are switching physical games, I expect they will lose them (kids being kids).
Physical cartridges can be cheaper though, as obviously you can buy second hand etc.

Share games, unless it's a game they both like, do something fun for birthday a day trip or even beach or camp in the garden smores bbq create memories. Xmas both the switch. My son got his for Xmas last year he's never off the thing 😂
