@emmanuelmunoz I’ve been looking into this too. Some of my relatives have been praising Albania and apparently it’s great in all seasons. Have beaches as well as mountains and beautiful nature. Apparently great for skiing too.
@emmanuelmunoz aww it’s right near Corfu my son wanted to go a boat trip but it can be quite strict so needed letters from dad etc so just a warning to others x
@emmanuelmunoz I’ve done lots of work trips to Albania, it’s amazing. Incredible landscapes and the food is the best. The only thing I’d say is that driving is very scary and public transport not great.
@constantfaithful we drove from Vienna to Sarajevo and looped through Mostar to Zagreb. It was a lovely holiday and I could have moved to Sarajevo. Loved it x
@stiegner we are going there this summer and cannot wait it looks beautiful. Anywhere you recommend that you really liked? We are staying in kotor and then going to travel around to a few places.
@timemonkey7 we loved Kotor old town and it is just stunning!!! and did the all day boat trip, 30 euro each. The local buses are cheap and easy. We stayed in Becici which is next to Budva and budva old town is also lovely, just smaller with no cats. Also recommend a day trip to Sveti Stefan. Just stunning xxx
@timemonkey7 Kotor bay is stunning. The old town is so lovely. Definitely recommend an evening walk up to the viewpoint to see all the glistening lights!
@stiegner Is it still cheap? I thought Montenegro was heading towards being a millionaire’s playground and being really touristy (judging by the cruise ships in Kotor harbour when we visited a few years ago)?
@prayforme2 we found it really cheap. Couple of euro each for buses, around 10 euro each for a main course and the all day boat trip with collection and drop off was only 30 euro each!! Xx
