Choosing the Right Nintendo Switch for Twins – Game Copies and Model Comparison

I don’t know which network provider you’re with but I just got my daughter an OLED switch for £18 a month for her Birthday. It came with 2 years free Nintendo Online play - This was through EE. I have 5 year old twins aswell and often find buying one thing outright and one on a monthly payment softens the blow 😂

If you're looking to play on the TV, I got my twins one and 2 sets of remotes. If as a hand held device my younger son saved for the other one. They all Just share the games between them...although drama when one got a digital download as that could only be used on one account oooops!

My kids share a tv switch at mine and have hand helds at their dads. We share onw digital account so we can all play all games. They can go 2 player on 2player games at mine and at dads. We bought extra controller so i could play mario with them on tv version x

If anyone is looking for a switch. My sons not played his in about 3 years sat back in the box doing nothing.
Open to offers.
About 8 other games to go with.
Crash bandicoot
Sonic
Bmx
And few others.

If there are having one each you'd be better with a switch lite unless u wanted hook them up 2 tv to play. I believe yes you'd need 2 games as u have 2 have the disk in while playing

I personally wouldn't get them one each, I'd get the version that connects to your TV. That way, they can play games together and you can join in too! Plus, you'll only need one game cartridge, so you'll get more games for your money.
My two don't often play separately, unless one is playing a game the other doesn't want to (but it's a boy and a girl lol so just dance doesn't appeal to the boy! 😄 🤣 )

@kellie1 this is great advice if planning to keep in the house but my boy takes his everywhere so would not work if this is the intention. He also brings it to sit with me in the dinning room where we have no tv or to nanny’s when she has him after school it’s such an easy pick up and go item and was 100% worth the money

@giona I get that, but a lot of people don't realise that the handheld version isn't good if you have more than one child, and from some of the wording in the original post money seems to be in short supply. Just posting my view to help save pennies if I can 🙂

@kellie1this is what we have. One Handset linked to the TV and Two Controllers. Our boys just share the handset when on holiday and there have been no arguments about sharing it. They have also played with two controllers with the small screen.

The games go onto an account so if you have the same account on both switches you will only have to buy the game once, however if they go online playing they will each need a seperate account with nintendo and then you will have to buy the games twice .

I would look on vinted.
I have just purchased one brand new condition in the box etc with a new pokemon game for less than half the price shop bought. And it came with the box practically brand new !!!!
I have 2 boys and I will be getting 2 of everything.
I purchased the lite consoles as they prefer the hand held gaming than on the TV. 🥰
