Turning Annoyances into Appreciations: A New Perspective Challenge

When I was little I was sometimes woken up by my dad getting ready to go to work at 5.30am. I used to wait until I knew he was leaving and then sneak down to give him a kiss, then go back to bed. Those were my favourite mornings ❤️ the familiar family noises are the best. I love this post 😊

Stuff like used glasses on the side, shoes in a heap really bother hubby but I don’t mind it at all, it means my 3 boys are here 💗💗💗💗

I realised very recently that my nearly 13 year old asking if I am going to 'come up' even though his little sister had already gone to bed was an opportunity to connect with him rather than a hassle. We normally say goodnight to him downstairs but recently have made an effort to go up to his room and I'm finding we are having some of the best conversations at that time 🥰

@eddieseven my autistic child cannot process her day and talk until the evening it used to drive me mad being kept awake late (as I get up early to take little one to school and go to work) but I enjoy these chats every night even though it’s late …. sometimes I do fall asleep about 1230/1 when she’s on my bed chatting away but she always takes comfort I’m there for here to chat crap at midnight!
You learn quickly with a Sen child you can’t be annoyed you just go with their flow ❤️

@zelake said to my 17 year old earlier you know when there’s stuff on the stairs like shower gel deodorant or handwash it’s absolutely fine if he wants to take it up he looks at me and sarcastically says ‘really’ little or I should say big buggar that he is 💙

I grew up in massive cities, that were really loud. Didn’t realise till I was an adult and moved to somewhere scilent that made me feel at home, then was happy to live to a loud place again and had to have the tv on to fall asleep. It’s what you get use to
