Turning Annoyances into Appreciations: A New Perspective Challenge

I wish at age 40 I could spend a day looking at life through the eyes of a child again.
Love this twist on looking at things and definitely will give it a go. I feel generally as adults were more entitled than appreciative, and entitlement really grates me lately.

I was born & raised in Edinburgh & I would get comfort in hearing my dad coming back from the pub singing 🤣no matter what time it was I couldn't sleep till I knew he was home 🙂 I miss my dad so much 😢 i live in the County now no noises to be heard at night I miss it still sometimes 🤷‍♀️

It’s no that strange. My daughters and I like to sleep with the door open and curtains open to let moonlight in. We don’t mind some noise too. In fact I don’t like to sleep in total darkness

My son’s en suite backs onto our bedroom.
Speaker shower on early every morning - garage, grime, anything noisy - singing away.
He died 2 years ago.
The silence is deafening 🙏💛.
