I baked a ham.
I made a crustless quiche
I made a batch of quesadilla filling.
I made a vanilla and choc chip tray bake.
Took me about an hour and a half yesterday.
This morning my husband and I spent an hour in the kitchen making enough ham or cheese sandwiches, wraps and thins and quesadilla’s to last four weeks. I popped them in large Tupperware boxes with layers of grease proof paper to separate. I chopped my quiche and cake into squares and did the same.
What’s the point of all this you’re starting to wonder… pack lunches my friends. Each morning I can grab a bit of everything, chuck into my kids lunch boxes, add fruit, a biscuit, a drink and we’re done.
The sense of relief this organisation brings is a joy.
What does everyone else do to help school mornings run smoothly?
Edit
Yes, I freeze everything.
