Edit: thank you all for your advice, we are taking each day and seeing how she feels with her new pain medication as the tumor in her spine is causing a lot of pain. Hoping they help her
❤️

Two part advice!
Looking for nicest coastal towns in uk. My auntie has been diagnosed with cancer and wants to live to the full whilst she can. She loves to be by the coast but prefers less touristy locations. I am looking for somewhere with availability of a large apartment and with lovely restaurants and cafes where she can unwind and spend time with her family
❤️

Where do people recommend?
Also I want to make sure we are prepared to care for her the best we can, she has oesophageal cancer. Anyone who has been through or cared for a loved one please can you recommend some items you loved having or receiving please. My auntie has been like a second mom to me and I want to give her every ounce of love and care I have x.

Mersea in Essex.
Best thing we could give my Nan in her final months & weeks was time & laughs. Absolutely priceless and gives a lot of moments to look back at (esp when the time comes & all you want to do is cry) xx

Northumberland has some stunning coastal towns my favourite is Bamburgh, but Alnmouth, seahouses and Embleton are lovely too.

Seaford! It’s great - lovely weather, can easily get to London for shows, lots of lovely countryside (South Downs)
