If you were potentially going to Manchester for your daughter's birthday treat (turning 10) what would you recommend please?
For reference shes turning 10 in the October half term, she's really into books - Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Michael Morpurgo etc, loves a trail, crafting etc. Also would love recommendations of kid friendly places to eat please
🙂

Thanks so much!

Probably not too helpful...but just seen a video of a super Mario cart track that's just opened in Manchester

If she genuinely likes books... John Rylands Library is amazing and Manchester Deansgate Waterstones has a huge kids room, too.

Chethams library. It's been around since the 1600's and gives off major Harry Potter vibes. You can ask for a tour when you get there and its not far from the science and industry museum which is good fun.

@natasha it’s a lovely place for food like an American dinner does amazing burgers and milkshakes all pink has a ball pit and that there are a few one in Piccadilly is best x

I am a celebrity, football museum.. crystal maze . The war museum. Sealife centre . Lego discovery museum. Shopping .. we have been 3 times and we love it . If there are in to football a visit to the stadium xx

We did the science and industry museum, football museum .
Both my boys are foodies,
Cibo for their parmesan pasta wheel( very theatrical and tasted amazing) and tepinyaki( Japanese food where they cook in front of you) the boys absolutely loved it.
Also for chicken wings/burgers highly recommend bunny Jackson's or Yard and Coop... thier salt and pepper nugs 🥰🥰
