Dr martens are my go to, wore them while working in schools and preschools, the combat boots are the best as don’t need much wearing and and give so much support!
Pavers have a brand called Loretta, they are very soft leather , some of the designs are very fashionable but I usually manage to find something acceptable. They are so comfy
When I was working as a physio, I lived in these. My shoes were on and off multiple times a day, making trainers a pain in the neck to have to deal with laces every time. They are like a pair of slippers. The Clarks website price is now £80 (up a good bit since I bought my last pair) but they’re available at a significant reduction on other sites. https://www.clarks.co.uk/c/Un-Loop/p/20312837
Dr martens soft leather bex the slightly thicker heel (not platform) for me have extra support and comfort soft leather means zero breaking in, or the crazy horse version equally no breaking in. Also don’t underestimate the power of a good insole purchase
