@adamgoode wonder balsam is great agreed, although I have only ever needed that for one pair, all my others have been comfortable straight away but I hear so many people saying they need breaking in so I think I might just be lucky
Heavenly feet are good, bought a pair of boots last winter and they were so comfy. Other shops do comfort fit shoes too, Asda, Sainsbury's, Matalan and Next definitely do. Tk Maxx often have comfort brands in too.
Dr martens shoes - wear them with thick socks at home for a while to break them in but then they’re the most comfortable shoes I have the patent ones and as a community nhs worker they’re comfy and wipe clean !
I don’t know why they can’t make a pair of “work” shoes that has comfort and support. I have a bad foot problem I’ve been dealing with for 6 years. I’m now wearing Asics nimbus 25, but it’s a trainer. I work at the airport and occupational health have allowed me to wear them. Skechers are great as there soft but they have almost zero support. Clarks may be your best bet and also try insoles.
When I was teaching I used to wear fit flop shoes. Expensive but SO worth it. They do slip on smart ones and was like walking on marshmallows. Never had any pain or aches at the end of the day!
