I think it’s lovely that your wearing traditional Indian clothing. This dress would look great and wouldn’t be offensive at all. Have a great time at the wedding x
 
Wearing red to an Indian wedding is like wearing white or cream to an Christian/Catholic wedding. It’s the unwritten rule that you don’t wear the same colour as the bride but it is a choice thing. I think the bride will just respect and appreciate that you made an effort to dress for the occasion. It’s your choice
 
It’s a beautiful dress! Indian wedding dresses are all about colourful attires. Red is considered to be a auspicious colour for the occasion. So most relatives pn either sides might be dressed in one of the hues of red. So this is perfect! And the bride might not be wearing Red but any of the colour of her choice except black.

There’s no such rule. And No it won’t offend the bride. Plus people in Indian wedding always try to look better than the bride lol
 
Nowadays the bride wears whatever color she feels like so she may not even wear red....regardless of what anyone wears the bride is the bride and its very hard to upstage an Indian wedding bride!
