How Involved Should Sellers Be at Markets?

Maybe pop bits of information written on card or laminated within your display. Then add in a question to them - guess how much of x is in this, how long it takes to make, who my most famous customer is, ask me and I’ll tell you if you’re close! Or a bit about yourself and/or if you have a particular need (sensitive skin, a dog, are a vegan, whatever you think suits your product) please ask me to point out which one is best for that need.
Def put prices/deals on and lots about your website so the other shy people can order in secret later 😃

Personally I prefer a “hi” and maybe a quick comment about the weather or how quick Christmas has come around and leave them to it. Given that you do online too, I would make sure that information is on your stall. Maybe have flyers or business cards available and maybe mention it occasionally. Often people go to fairs with a limit on their budget just to by decorations or a present for a specific person/s. They may like your products but may not be in the market or have the budget to buy that day, but if they like them and they can have a card with your online information on they may return to you later. Good luck 😁

Clear prices and maybe an offer for buying more than one item. I don't think you need to be chatty just make sure you smile and come across approachable x

I would say give out some info to anyone at the stall like what the product is good for etc but also some deals thst they can only get at the stall as I would usually prefer to look online and order on a different day but special deals on the day will sway me.

I would gave some little samples for people to try or take away.As sn opener....would you like a free sample?
Then that opens the conversation.

I dont like pushy sellers I like to look at the items snd take my time.
I like a hi and if you have any questions about anything or you want to know more about an item let me know x
