So this is my small back garden. (If you can even call it that) full of weeds, but my question is what can I do with it? All the concrete is cracked and uneven and then that big block of concrete in the middle
🤦🏼‍♀️
it’s a real sun trap and would just like to be able to enjoy it. It’s private rent so budget ideas please and thank you
😊

EDIT: Thank you all so much for your comments, I am going to de-weed tomorrow.
I will read through all comments properly again, but thank you all for your suggestions, I’m becoming inspired.

Scrub the walls weed the yard ..maybe ask if you can paint the wall or of not get the picture shower curtains ..
Put mirrors down the dark end to draw the light down
Gravel over the uneven concrete

Get rid of the weeds, buy a little bench for on the concrete block and place plant pots or trophs around the sides for lovely flowers.

Kill off the weeds, get a cheap bag of sand to even the floor. Then get a cheap off cut of lino for the floor. You could get roll of bamboo and tack against the walls. Then fill any floor/wall gaps with pots of plants, hanging baskets. And some string solar bulb lights. Little table n chairs. Paint any walls white where you can. Also, any old large mirrors from charity shops, paint frames in bright colours and place them against walls. Make garden feel bigger. Hope any of these ideas help. Good luck.

You could very easily put some pea shingle gravel down, find a small bistro set on FB and a few pots, it would look gorgeous! A little walled garden.
Walls that you don’t like, could you paint them? Or put some trellis/ mirror up? A couple of strings of solar lights, would make it wonderful in the eve. I think you could make it rather beautiful!

Same here, frame the edge, fill with gravel for a little table.
Save the, what looks like Erigeron. It will look lovely in pots, and seeds itself well. Also leave the tall pink wild sedum type, where it is on the wall. Looks like a little cottage garden

First of all could you pressure wash it all and weed or other way round, then get some very fine gravel for the cracks or if big enough cracks plant some camomile or thyme, they smell nice . Then I would plant up some pots in colourful containers, maybe add some decorative metal work to wall, add some rectangle pots to brick work course with trailing plants, this you can then take with you if you move

Pots! Buy some pots on FB Market Place, you can also get cheap plants on there too. I have lots of pots of various sizes and I love that you can create different looks just by moving them around sometimes. If you can, buy perennial plants that will last annuals, that will keep the cost down too! 🌸☀️🐝🍷

Hi would get the weed killer down 1st see whst you are working with .Are you able to get the big bits cement etc taken away where you could put down some chips or something similar and we table /chairs then see what it looked like and put some pots /flowers s tattered about .Have you tried asking landlord if he could clear it up a bit for you .
My son is in private and cost him a grand to sort garage roof ,is slabbing part back ,break down a huge do called fire pit and has had to replace rotted decking but you may be lucky if you ask him .xx

U have some beautiful plants there, not just weeds. I would rescue what you can and pot them in various size pots. Groups of 3s work beautifully. Then would preasure wash the whole thing. Ikea do decking slabs which fit together. You could create paths, sitting are and grass from this. Depending how much u want to use it maybe stepping stones and gravel as other option

If you get fake grass mind you have to put down know draining and something else and has to washed /hosed down not something I would ever use .My cousin got it put down hated it xx
