Ello you lovely lot!
✨️

Its a nice evening out there, and it would be awesome to read your stories of a side hustle you have found yourself doing. It doesn't matter, whether it is successful or a work in progress, for as long as it brings you joy. I'm at the crossroads of sorts, and feel miserable, as apparently being off the workforce for nearly a decade in order to be a full time carer is considered as useful and valuable experience as dumpster diving, therefore would like to see, what parents of UK choose to do instead as a self - employment.

I am a cleaner and hairdresser but take in ironing evenings and do a bit of crafting to bump things up a bit

What about growing all sort of seedlings - food plants like tomatoes, pots with mixed salads in them that people can crop each week? Sold at craft stalls local events to cover costs and in selling them to people to enjoy you ll prob get the praise you deserve for your skills in nurturing the delicate?

Im in similar situation, left full time career 11 years ago,
I’m still a carer but kids don’t need me at home as much, and neither do the grandkids so I’ve just signed up for an agency to do occasional promotional work, good luck! Try indeed for a bit of inspiration 😊

Im a bookkeeper and office manager with years of experience in a variety of industries and software.
My side hustle is doing this as consultancy, short burst projects overhauling business processes and admin implementing new software and integrating existing. The end result for the business is less time and money spent on their admin and a slick operation. I work remotely and this takes a few evenings or Saturdays to complete. I dont take on many but every now and then an injection of cash is very helpful!
Use your skills and expertise as a side hustle.
