Can we talk stocking fillers… 🍊
What do you put in your kids stockings? I remember as a child I always got an orange and a chocolate Santa and I loved it!!! Now kids seem to get so much more than that!
Are you minimal with stockings or extravagant? I’d love to know what goes in yours?
If you’re still looking for stocking fillers we have some gorgeous hand made playdough, crayons and fun tools left on our website BUT the website will shut for Christmas on Friday 15th December so don’t wait around 🎄
Why not have a browse of my site and get one job ticked of today ✅

I usually aim for classic things so my daughter doesn't say oh santa shops at aldi the same as us. So old school unbranded swirl lollies and chocolate coins simple toys like fidgets etc

We don’t do a sock. In our house, Santa only brings one thing. And it’s usually the big thing, like the bike or the scooter or the doll’s house etc. The rest of the stuff is from us, and she’s aware of that. So she’s be aware that it’s us putting the smaller things into the sock, and not Santa. So I just don’t see the point of a sock.

@metro I’m just aware that we’re in an incredibly lucky position right now, to be able to spend a lot of money on her Christmas presents, but she goes to school with children who wouldn’t be so lucky. The thoughts of her announcing, “oh I got 13 things from santa”, while some other child only gets 1 thing, just doesn’t sit right with me. So I felt this was a happy compromise. We still buy the presents, she still gets them, but there’s zero guilt about ruining another child’s Christmas or beliefs. Because we could very easily be that less well off family next year.

@metro I’m actually raging I didn’t think of that from the beginning. Take credit for the big item. Then we could have done a Santa sock. But too late now. 🤣

Always take the credit for the big present! You work hard to get these things for your children! The stocking is always the only thing that has gifts from the big man in it x Never too late to start a new tradition! 😉 x

Chocolate, sweets, j20 and then some small presents for my son, for my partner beer, small presents, chocolate and bath stuff

@metro I remember getting a orange j20 as I didn’t really eat oranges so I just do the same for my son but he eats oranges but I feel like he will be like wth 😂

Satsuma that doesn't get eaten lol, a toothbrush, choc coins (they do get eaten!), a magazine, and a couple of other little things like a vaseline tin/ Aaron's Thinking Putty/mini lego kit (I pick them up 2nd hand). This yr they both have a sharing pack of their fave crisps!
